Where in the Soviet Union were you raised? I spent a year in Kazakstan and a summer in Latvia. My Russian isn’t as good as it used to be, but I still think in Russian sometimes.

In reply to Jennifer – I was raised in Minsk, a capital of Belarus. I came to US when I was 24 – a very long time ago :) And thanks for stopping at my blog!

Oh, think everyone who has every heard me sing at church or a nursery rhyme would agree I am tone deaf, too! I have barely traveled…I have always lived on the East Coast, but have been to CA…my only other country was Canada.
